How expand Time Sheet: Data Entry View tables?

This is the 21st century and monitors with full HD resolutions. Meanwhile, the window for entering time by default is ridiculously small. How to change the size of these tables for ergonomic use?

I would also like to understand what is required to make the window larger and also to change the default column widths. The terrible GUI makes the process of filling in the timesheets much more time consuming and error prone than it needs to be.
