I'm in HR and my company is currently implementing SAP SuccessFactors. We want to leverage the SAP Community as part of that, but I'm unclear on the best way to do so. Are there packaged trainings or best practices on how to increase adoption? Metrics for success? Tips for things like Super User programs? A calendar or system updates? I am lost and looking for guidance.

It looks like you've already found the SuccessFactors tag, so that would be the right place to start. You could search for the blogs and already posted questions there to see if anything is of interest.
However, some items you're asking for will not be on SCN. Training information would be here and free online courses - here. "Calendar of updates" should be definitely somewhere on the official SAP Support portal. Use Google with "site:sap.com" addition to find such places. We don't use SuccessFacfors, so I don't know if there is some designated "hub" page just for that product which could take you to other places.
Please understand that SAP Community (aka SCN) consists of the volunteers, many of which work for the SAP customers just like yourself and are not paid to provide "services" on SCN. Some SAP employees post on SCN too but this is not a reliable source for the official documents. If, for example, you run into a specific technical issue that SAP Support cannot answer then you could try asking on SCN. Or if you would like to ask for the tips from other SAP customers - that's also the SCN question material. But for any official information look elsewhere.

Welcome, Sharon!
The SAP Community is primarily a place for knowledge sharing -- where users can ask and answer questions, share best practices, and so on. You can get a general overview of the various community areas here: https://www.sap.com/community/about.html
For some of the things you're looking for, you might want to look in the support or training sections (all accessible from the site's navigation). You might also want to look in the wiki: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/WHP/Home
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
