How do I create a story report that shows changes in a specific field on an employee's record

Greetings- 

I thought I had seen a blog on this subject, but I can't seem to locate it now. I also checked the template stories, and nothing stood out as an example of this.  

I want to be able to create a report that will show me all of the people who have had a change in a specified field, such as location. Event reason will not work because if an employee was promoted and changed locations, the event reason wouldn't indicate that the person changed locations.  How would I accomplish this, specifically in a story report?
