Please help us on the following:
Unfortunately, we have added 2-time account types in the time type, which is causing affects for all the new hires, as they are getting additional leaves from the unfortunate time account types.
Is there any way, we can delete the time account types, without having any discrepancy in the system.
As long as at least 1 person has a time account assigned, that is not possible. You'd need to delete all time accounts and there entries of a time type, before you can remove the account (which is not recommended).
It may be easier to activate the effective dated time profile feature, create a new time type and replace it with the old one.

If a time type is removed from a profile, that affects all users with a specific time type indeed. I haven't been able to work with effective dated time profiles yet as that is fresh from the new release (hence I haven't been able to spot the caveats yet), you may best set it up and try it out to get a well founded answer.
