How can the compRating field be used on the compensation worksheet to make it ?

hello!

I was wondering, as a soon-to-be Compensation module consultant, the actual use of the compRating field, like the best practices associated to it and that could enhance a Compensation Worksheet. I don't quite find any other good use of it aside of this one.

In my understanding, It allows ratings to be entered directly on the planning worksheet for those employees who don't have a performance form but is there any other uses to it?

There is the case you illustrated plus when the client wants to override the manager's rating at comp time.
