Hi,
Our system has been recently integrated into our business.
Currently users are able to book absence leave for 2022, however they are unable to book any for 2023.
How do I enable annual leave for 2023 to allow users to start booking absence.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Thomas,
sorry for my delay in response.
The calendars which you have run are for the creation of accruals. I assume that nothing was created because time accounts have not yet been created. So, first you need to run the calendar for account creation. Then, rerun the accrual calendar for 2023.
Kind regards
Virginie

Hi Thomas,
your understanding is correct.
Regarding the 2023 account not generated, please provide a screenshot of the calendar you have created.
The date range needs to overlap with the 2023 account period.
Kind regards
Virginie

Thanks, you both for your reply.
You'll have to forgive my ignorance I have only been working with SAP EC for a few months.

Just to make sure that I have understood you both correctly.
I need to create the time account type (which has been done and was used for 2022) then go to manage time off calendar to create a 2023 calendar using that time account type.
If I have understood correctly, I have done this and the 2023 calendar is not generating,

If I configure the 'Accrual Creation Offset' in Time Account Type, I could generate the following years annual leave automatically?! Thank you for this, for business reasons we need to generate the calendar manually for 2023 but I will look at generating future calendars going forward.
Once again, thank you both for your help

Hi Tom,
For future, you can configure an creation offset for accounts and accruals on the time account type such that for future years they will be created in advance automatically rather than the manual work you now need to do.
Kind regards
Virginie
