Hiring through Integration Center in EC

Hi everyone,

I am new with Integration Center in Employee Central having worked on as ABAPer for more than a decade.

I'd like to know if it is possible to do hiring through Integration Center. In SAP ERP, this can be done through LSMW and I was hoping that there is an equivalent automated hiring process for Employee Central.

Typically, You would be using Hiring Via OData API,

you need to update the required entities one by one, there is no single API which does this

User, PerPerson, EmpEmployment, EmpJob, PerPersonal, EmpCompensation, PerEmail, PerAddressDEFAULT and EmpPayCompRecurring

Hi Siddharth,

Thank you for your answer.

We were able to do hiring using the Integration center by updating most of the portlets that you have mentioned.

It was important to set the Event and Event-Reason to "H" and "NEWHIR" respectively. for a successful new hire.
