Hi everyone,
I would like to add a hint (e.g. in form of a text box) on the side of a question within a quiz. The hint should be displayed only if the user requests it and clicks on the corresponding icon.
Unfortunately, I can only add a text box, which is displayed directly on the page of the question, in the quiz template. However, when I create a quiz with the template, I cannot add text to the text box or edit the text box.
In the quiz itself, I cannot add a text box directly on the question page. The text box is displayed as a separate page in the quiz.
How can I add a textbox/hint directly on the question page in the quiz and enter custom text?
Best regards,
Nele

Hi Nele,
Effectively, that's what the Media File field in the Media section of properties for each question is used for, to provide a hint of some sort. The only issue there is that the hint would need to be added as a media object of some sort, e.g. video or PDF document. Outside that, there is no easy way to add an object to the quiz template because all quiz items likely share the same template and there is no ability to modify the individual objects on the quiz template, other than to use the properties of the quiz items.

Shane

Hi Nele,
there is a simple workaround. Try it with shapes. For example a circle.
Under the tab "Links" you will find the "quick info". There you can enter quite a lot of text. (Unfortunately not formatted)
Under "Effects" you can then e.g. also enter a different fill color for the mouse rollover. Then the whole thing looks a bit more dynamic.
Shall I send you an example .dkp file?
Many greetings
Sören
