Hide Enable Now Group content in Published Trainer view

Hi, I am trying to hide Group content (sims) from showing in the Left hand side tree structure when viewing in the trainer. So the user has to select from the main book page. So only the main Group folders are visible in the left tree structure and when clicked they open the library autostar6t page that has the links on the that page.

I have it set correct as I want in one work area but can't duplicate on another as you can see here, the sims are not shown on the left structure, only on the AutoStart page : If you could please advise how I have set it up!

Hi David,

Add them to a Group object and hide the Group object. That way, you can still link to them on your auto start pages but they will not appear in the content structure on the left.

Thanks Shane. The odd thing is on my other work area that its showing correctly it has the sims in groups which are not hidden. I think I have seen a note somewhere that there is a bug on the one of the trainers which impacted what is showing in the content structure?

Hi David,

If your other WA is an Extended WA, you may be using the Trainer that is used for the standard content libraries. I believe that these Trainers are not standard code, they go through some form of change, so the behaviour that you are seeing may not be standard. The standard behaviour is to show the Simulations in the content structure so you will need to hide their parent if you do not want them shown.
