Hi I need Section weight available in the worksheet how to do it

I have one requirement that I need to add one section weight field in the worksheet how can I do it?

There are a couple of ways to do this using custom fields. If the section weights are standard for everyone, you can just put a custom field in entry level using a hard coded value. For example, if the business goals section has a section weight of 35% for everyone, just create a custom percent field that is set to 35%. If there is variation, you might be able to use a lookup table that mimics the parameters of the bonus plans to derive a correct % for each user. The other option would be to use a ALCF that equals the section weight and then aggregates to the entry level. If you have multiple assignments, you would create a field =1 as a counter and then another field for the section weight. Then you aggregate both and create another entry level field to do the calculation like section (weight 1 + section weight 2)/(counter 1 + counter 2), which would yield something like (30+40)/(1+1) to display 35.

I think the second point by David is really what you should explain to your customer first: if there is potentially different section weights for different records due to different bonus plans THEN for employees with more than one assignment we cannot display two values, only an averaged one (sum of all records section weight divided by number of records) as per David's comment. I would have my customer confirm the requirement based on this limitation because they might tell you to drop it alltogether and instead prefer to go down the path of a custom statement which can show every single section weight.
