Has anyone used business rules for closing job requisitions, for example, if a requisition is opened by X # of days, configure business rules to close the requisition.
Request clarification before answering.

I did not find that business rules were useful for the closure of job requisitions as there is no trigger in intelligent services for a req becoming X age. Unless a requisition is modified in some way, a rule assigned to a requisition will never be triggered.
Instead, I have used integration center to close job requisitions. I did this as a csv input integration with a file prepared manually to confirm we didn't accidently close reqs the business still wanted.
However, you could turn this into a more automated process by using a SF to SF integration type. I would suggest to develop this as two csv integration (output & input) first before creating the SF to SF type as they are much easier to troubleshoot.
You must exclude any draft requisitions as any required fields that are not completed will result in an error in the integration.
