I ended up summarizing and adding certain notes in the guided tours for english, making creating the guided tour in other languages challenging. To fix this, I took screenshots of the english guided tours so I have steps to view so I know what to create for guided tours in other languages. Is there a better way to do this?
I tried opening up 2 different browsers one side had an english guided tour open and the other side was German for example and it was short lived since both browsers went to english.
Also, when you assign a hot spot and the dropdown menu is too small to hold 2 hot spots at the same time what do you do? I made one hot spot a note and assigned the other hot spot so I don't waste more time

Hi Rowena,
I agree with Dirk's suggestions above. Additionally, you can open the Guided Tours in Producer so see the texts and steps. I would also copy it in the Producer and then do the translation as Dirk described.
For the hotspots you can try different types of highlights, like the rectangle or the corner highlight. Those don't take up too much space, maybe it works with those.
Take care,
Kristina

Thank you Kristina. I went to Producer to try and locate the guided tours. I am unable to find them. When I go to manager I can see the guided tours but only the link and description. The link doesn't do anything, any advice where I can locate the actual content in producer? I checked root group and all the unsorted and wasn't able to find it. I can't wait to try Dirk and Kristina's answers since it will save me a lot of time with the guided tour! Happy Holidays

I'm assuming this is a Web Assistant Guided Tour (not Desktop Assistant), as you are talking about browsers? Either way, the simplest way to translate it - including any custom text - is to use SEN's 'automated' translation options to create a 'local language' version of the Guided Tour project, and then Export/translate/Import the text - just as you would for a simulation project. You may need to go through afterward and recapture the hotspots if the interface is also changing to the local language - log on in the local language, or if that's not an option, try setting the parameter &help-language=de-DE (or equivalent) and that should at least check for Guided Tours in the local language, even if you don't have the interface in that language (results could be unpredictable, though...).

Rowena: In Producer you will need to go to Server Workarea > Check Out Objects. You can search for the object by name if you know what that is - else just scroll down to find it. Once you have done that and loaded it, it will still only be visible in Unsorted in Producer, but you can drag it somewhere else if you really want. Searching in Producer is usually VERY fast, though...
