Getting Notified (workflow)

Hi,

I have created a workflow and I'm trying to use it for a project.
However when I assign a project to an author (using this workflow), how does this author get notified that they have been assigned a project ?

please check the notification settings under Administration / Server Settings --> Notification. Notification at Assignment)
