Generated Hands-on guide for a Simulation is not accessible without VPN?

We are generating Hands-on guide from simulation and users are not able to access this generated guide without being connected to VPN. However, they can access same simulations without any issues. Can anyone help on why this might be the case?

The document is an asset of the simulation, so if they can access the simulation they should be able to access the document. Is this just for Word documents or PDFs (or both)? All I can think is there's something in the Word template (or Acrobat) that is trying to make a connection to somewhere else.

Thanks for the response.
It is just for PDF documents - whether generated from Simulation or uploaded as media & we are not able to figure out the reason why it is happening only for the PDF documents.

Any suggestions from your end on where we should check?

So it will be down to whatever program you use to open PDFs (or - if you can open PDFs stored outside of SEN - what the browser wants to use for opening PDFs. Maybe it is trying to access a cloud PDF reader? Check your file associations and your browser settings.
