We are going to be turning on the standard SAP Gender field in our environment soon that included the updated picklist values for gender. Currently we only have the fields with Male and Female on the picklist. The new picklist fields are male, female, unknown, undeclared, others. Before we turn this on we were wondering if anyone else has migrated to this SAP standard field yet, and what the transition was like? Did you migrate the current field selections or have team members actively pick their gender on the team member profile? For US based companies how did the transition work from an EEO standpoint? Did you have a universal change to the new picklist or did you maintain both picklists for EEO? For companies that have Global team members how did you handle the transition due to local laws on gender in certain countries? Any feedback on the transition will be appreciated.
