Dear Community
Our client requires that there is only one Bonus Assignment per employee.
The issue is that if there is an update on background fields, for example Salary or Incentive, the system automatically creates multiple assignments.
We tried to remove the assignment proration using Earnings, and inserted the values manually for this field, but when launching, even though the info on Assignment is the expected one, it still returns 2 assignments.
According to some research, the Earnings solution is feasible only when using non-EC bonus plan rules, but based on our client's needs, we need to use EC rules because in the Plans we use an EC field "Is Eligible for Bonus Plan: Name of the Plan".
Do you have any suggestions how to solve this issue?
Thanks in advanced,
Federica

Hi fegrasso87,
If you're not after a point in time calculation but want to merge certain employee history records even if values change, you can have a look at the second video in xavierlegarrec blog post here regarding the Merge criteria. I think this might help. https://blogs.sap.com/2021/03/11/3-key-configuration-setups-to-master-in-variable-pay/
Thanks,
Christian
