Folder structure in SAC

Hi,

I am new in setting folder structure in SAC for business users and have some queries-

1. Do we give edit rights for users to create their own versions in Public folder.
2. Where models should be kept?
3. Should models be visible to users or it should be hidden?

1. Do we give edit rights for users to create their own versions in Public folder. - It depends, you could create the required folder structure in Public and just allow the user to use them. All users can have their stuff in private ( My Files).
2. Where models should be kept? -  It should be in Public folder structure. You can create a dedicated folder for Models or you can have folder structure according to functions like Finance/HR etc and then have a dedicated folder for Models in them
3. Should models be visible to users or it should be hidden? The models should not be hidden but not every body should have an edit access to the model. You can control all this using roles.
