Fiori Leave Request App – Default Date Always Set to Tomorrow instead of Today

Hello SAP Community,

We are currently using SAP Fiori for managing absence requests in our S/4HANA On-Premise system, and it's working well overall. However, we face a small but frustrating issue with the default date behavior.

When employees are submitting absence requests (for example home office), the system automatically sets the next day’s date (i.e., tomorrow) as the default date. This is fine if someone is planning ahead, but it's really inconvenient when submitting the request at the end of the current day.

For instance, if I try to submit an absence for today (April 7th), the system always defaults to April 8th, requiring me to manually change the date to today.

We would like to change this default behavior so that the system always proposes today’s date instead of the next day.

I checked SPRO Configuration: 

Here, we have the following options for "Proposal of next absence date":

The D option currently results in tomorrow’s date being suggested, which is causing the issue.

Has anyone come across this issue? Is there a way to configure SAP Fiori or adjust via a BAdI to set today’s date as the default proposal instead of tomorrow’s date?
