Hi:
I'm looking for the provider of the financial institutions load file. This file is used for updating the banks in ECP.
Does anyone have this info?
Melissa
Hi mleffler_canfor.com,
If your organization has a payroll team or utilizes a payroll service provider, they may have access to the financial institution's load file or be able to assist you in obtaining it. They can guide you through the process of updating banks in ECP and offer support in acquiring the required files.
Typically, the financial institution load file is supplied by the appropriate banking authority or regulatory body in your country.

I don't remember the program to load the file... perhaps you can share; but I have loaded in the past.
The file came from the Canadian Payment Association (CPA). The website has the PDF format of the file available to download. Lookup Financial institution branch directory
They call the electronic format FIF (Financial Institutions File) but it seems that you need to subscribe to get access.
I do recall in the past getting the file in text format but I am also struggling to find the file in text format to upload to SAP.

Hi
I know how to process the file, I've done it before. I just can't remember where I got the file from. I tried the Bank of Canada and no luck. I will keep looking.
