Hi All,
I have a requirement to cascaded picklist with legal entity as the parent value. But since this is not possible in picklists, we opted to go with custom MDF object for these fields and associating it with Legal Entity.
But problem is we do not find the 'Field Criteria' option to complete the configuration in Country Specific fields. This option is only available in the global template.
Is there any work around for this?
Attached are the screenshot of custom field detail in global template and CSF template.custom-field-jobinfo.png custom-field-csf-jobinfo.png
Request clarification before answering.
Have you tried adding the field to the global template, making it invisible when the job country is any other than Belgium.

Hi Jaideep,
Apologies, misread that part. For a customer we have re-created the employee group and type as MDF objects, since only some combinations were possible. You should be able to configure this for country and your second field.

Thanks Sem.
Yes even I am going for a similar solution.
But drawback here is I must add the custom field for 'Personnel Area' in global template even though I wanted this only for Belgium.
If I add custom field in jobInfo_Bel, I do not find the 'Field Criteria' section in the field details.

Jai
Hello Jaideep,
It is certainly possible to create a dependency between picklists in the Succession Data Model. For instance the Work Permit portlet does this (see my attachments).
