External users on SAP Companion BYDesign

Hello

just asking if anyone knows, before I go to SAP support.

IS there a reason (technical?) why the external users parameters are not functionning as supposed to now. ?

I have been using this for a customer on their Test environment, but we receive a logon request when we go in SAP bYdesign ... we should not since parameter is set. - I had to disable Web Assistant !

Thank you Shane,

I have changed the parameter to True. But finally it was fixed by Developers, Anton - the external Setting in my manager server settings was not appearing at all since last update, even though we have the licences.

But thank you for taking the time to look at my questions.

Hi Annie,

There are a couple of things to try:

1. The enableExternalUsage parameter must be set to true, not 1
2. Try using the parameter delayManualLogin=10 to delay the manual login dialogue box. By default, the external process should work after 10 seconds but if SSO fails before that, the manual dialogue box may be displayed before the external login works.
