You will have to work with the constraints of character limits from both Successfactors and external provider. In regards to the external provider, you would need to get a hold of their technical team to understand their standards to character limits. To the extent of Successfactors, please kindly review the following SAP notes. It gives an understanding of the character limits and as well as a data mapping that could be useful.
