External Candidate Registration - R/3 Username/Password

Hi All,

The link for external candidate registration( hrrcf_a_candidate_registration) is prompting for R/3 username and password as shown in the below snapshot :

I have maintained the service user RCF_WD_SERV in the logon data for all the below mentioned services as indicated in SAP Help document.

Services with the logon procedure Mandatory with Logon Data:

We're on EHP6 and ERec and HR system are on the same instance. Kindly advice.

Hi Sachin,

That is dependent on your server settings - not E-Recruiting services in SICF.

Thanks for your inputs. For my better understanding, can you please explain the significance of maintaining the service user in the above mentioned services?

Also, how is the service "/default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/hrrcf_a_candidate_registration"  different from the service "/default_host/sap/bc/erecruiting/registration"? We're on EHP6 and using WDA.

Is it possible for you to tell which server setting I need to modify in order to disable the R/3 username/password prompt?

Hi Sachin...

What roles has RCF_WD_SERV user?

Check that RCF_WD_SERV user is not internal candidate..

Hi Jose,

Thanks for your inputs. Actually, the issue was related to a custom logo on the login page. Because of this the system was prompting for R/3 username and password.
