Dear all,
At this moment we are considering system architecture of new SAP e-Rec installation. Current customer system landscape consist of SAP HR PA and SAP EP, running productively. Together with customer we agreed on separated SAP e-Rec and SAP HR PA scenario, integrated with RFC (ALE).
Customer assumed that Portal components of SAP e-Rec be installed on existing and running SAP EP, inside company Intranet and behind firewall.
And here the issue occurs: will it be possible to use standard SAP e-Rec external candidate web front-end services (where 'external candidate profile' is accessed by external candidate via Internet browser) without installing separate SAP EP instance for handling external candidate web front-end services since existing and running SAP EP instance should be hidden behind firewall? Should we consider - what seems bit ridiculous as per our existing experiences - to use two SAP EP instances: one existing and running SAP EP (inside company Intranet) for Recruiter and Recruiter Administration web services and the second, new, instance of SAP EP for for handling external candidate web front-end services?
All ideas are welcomed!
Regards, Marcin.

Hi Marcin,
You don't need EP for external candidates, see also
