export content from SEN

Dear administrators,

My organization's subscription to SEN is about to expire. It will retry, but there will be a pause between periods.
Is there any way to export all Manager/Producer content from SEN.
Will content from the cloud be stored for some time? Because if so, there is no need to export.

Regards
Raphael

Hi Rafal,

Your Enable Now instance will be available for 30 days following the completion of your subscription. At this point, given GDPR, I think SAP has no option but to delete the environment entirely. I don't believe there is any way to stop the deletion of your environment because these processes are automated and governed by data privacy laws in the EU.

I would definitely backup your content, as described by Dirk above, and export your user records from Manager, if they are manual user records. If they are SSO user records, no need to backup.

Shane

You can export all your content (and adaptable resources) as a .dkp file, using menu option Workarea > Export from Producer (also possible from Manager, but it's easier in Producer. If you want all your user/roles/org structure/assignments you'll need to save as Excel from Manager.

I don't know how long SAP keep your instance for. If you ask nicely they might keep it around for a few months? They might have a way to 'suspend' it before they delete it. Contact your CSP and ask them.

Hi,
the process of exporting content is quite clear and does not cause any major problems.
However, I am wondering about another issue, namely the export of users and their subsequent import to SEN.
How does the issue of importing users look like? If I wanted to enlist 400 users for example.
Is some "special" excel necessary? What fields are mandatory?

If you export the existing list, you can re-import it (the export is in the correct format for import) - but they will all be manual' IDs and not SSO-created IDs (I don't know what you have at the moment). You'd also need to make sure the same OUs and Roles exist [with the same UIDs) before the import - otherwise it will probably just ignore those OUs/Roles (but still import the users).
