Event Reason Issue

Hi,

I am attempting to add an Event Reason to "Employee Profile > Actions > Change Job and Compensation Info > Event > Event Reason"

Event Reason is a dependent Picklist that is based on Events (See Image).

I have followed the following KBA 2274816 - How to Create An Event Reason - SAP ONE Support Launchpad but the Event does not show in the Event reason drop down.

Any ideas why the new event reason does not show in the picklist drop down?

Hi Thomas

Please check in case you have any assigned any values under employee status while creating the event reason. The nature is that in case you define any employee status into event reason it does not appear into the MSS screen even it all permissions are given.

Please remove the employee status value from the event reason and check if the event reason appear into Take action.

Kindly check and confirm if it works

Hi Thomas,

after creating the event reason give users the access to use it. Identity the roles used by users and update the Role Based Permission.
