Error - The operation Time out (12002)

Hi,

I am getting a "The operation timed out" error whenever I try to save a project. I have seen some previous questions raised regarding the same issue, but I haven't really understood how to fix this. Is there any article or resources on how to do it ? Thanks for helping!

I get that a lot. There's an SAP note about it (https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2390539), which involves making some changes to your registry. That may help - although I still get these errors on occasion - I just immediately retry and it usually works the second time.

Short answer: network connection is slow and if VPN is in used, its settings could impact the connection (traffic analysis/filtering). Please apply SAP Note 2390539.
