Error ".txt is not imported prior to export" when publishing compensation data to Employee Central

Hi Experts

I am getting an error which says ".txt is not imported prior to export" when publishing data from my Compensation worksheet to Employee Central.

I found KBA 2251456 below which explains that the background=element id="compensation" must be present in the data model and can confirm that it is present already. I also checked the type-id of this portlet and also the data-fields within the portlet.

I have now managed to resolve this. I discovered that the issue was occurring because the non-recurring pay component portlet was not enabled in my instance. I was not publishing back to that portlet, but it needed to be enabled for the publishing job to succeed.
