Error - "Do not add more than 1 employment status changing actions at same day".

Hi,

When an employee is transferred to another legal entity(company code) within an organisation, in Success factor as of today we have to terminate the employee from existing legal entity and rehire him on new legal entity, but we got the issue in ERP Data Replication, as it gets failed with error message "Do not add more than 1 employment status changing actions at same day".

I wonder if there is any action which can be set as Internal Transfer in SF and same can flow correct to HCM, can anyone suggest on this.

Hi,

Business do not want to go for Transfer in and out 😞

They want to terminate and rehire on the same date, for an employee's moving from company code A to B.

Do you have a better suggestion or idea to handle this situation?

Hello Renuka ,

Standard system will not allow 2 different employment statuses on same day as Infotype-0000 has time constraint -1. If 2 actions with different statuses on the same day for one employee ID, System will be used the Infotype 0302 automatically to store second personnel action.without deleting it.

Usually employee ID will be changed if transfer in company code level. So you are using same employee ID even after internal-transfer. If it is,

1. Create Internal Transfer-In and Internal Transfer-Out in ECC as well EC. You would need to change the company code ,PA,PSA, cost centers.

If the different employee ID :

1. Hire under new company code with different employee ID as on after terminate date of previous company code.

2. Maintain previous employee ID in IT0031 so data of few Infotypes will be fetched to new employee ID.

You have to calculate the total experience in company for gratuity and other service related allowances .

Hi,

There should be 1 day gap between 2 actions (say, day 1 you are separating & day 2 rehiring). On same day, you cannot keep hiring action for 2 entities in sap hcm.

Hi balasubramanian.ap,

We need to terminate in company code A and Rehire in company code B but on same day, for compensation data, payroll data etc.

Else we will have one day gap for them, which will impact employee 1 day salary / compensation.

Terminate on previous day and rehire him on next day. I hope sap will not allow 2 actions on same day with changing employment status.

Hi,

As per my understanding, if an employee is on roll with entity A upto 25.08.2019, His employment status is active till 25.08.2019. From 26.08.2019, his status will change to INACTIVE from A. Means one cannot be active on same day in 2 legal entities (company).

From 26.08.2019 onwards, he will be inactive at A & active at B.

In SAP HCM, internal transfer means, changing location (pers.area/dept) and not changing employment status.
