Error message when trying to create 2 new users

This error message appears when we try to import 2 users at the same time: a manager is hired after his direct report:

Please have a look at KBA 3578653 - Future hired manager could not be searched under Job Information<Supervisor field

• Only the users whose status is active in EP could be searched out and set under Job Information<Supervisor field.

So in your case, you could consider to fill the manager-id field as value "NO_MANAGER".

If your instance uses Position hierarchy as leading hierarchy in Position Management, then schedule a Position Management Daily Hierarchy Adaptation job to run daily. This job will change new hire's manager to the incumbent of parent position on the hire date.

Thank you for reaching out. I am Hannah from the Employee Central Team. Could you please check the following data/configuration:

1. If manager has a job information hire record;

2. Go to "Position Management Settings" >> "Hierarchy Adaptation" tab >> if "Threshold for Running Adoption of Reporting Line and Job Relationships as a Job" is between 5 ~ 20;

3. Go to "Manage Business Configuration" >> jobInfo >> manager-id field, details >> if visibility = Edit

If the manager has a job information hire record, and "Threshold for Running Adoption of Reporting Line and Job Relationships as a Job" is between 5 ~ 20, and visibility of manager-id field = Edit, but error still reports after import, please consider raising an incident to the LOD-SF-EC team via SAP For Me. Our Employee Central colleagues will be able to assist you and provide possible workarounds.
