hello all,
"Sorry, you can’t request NN days. You’ve only got NN days of leave left"
the message that appear from the system when you try to request more days than you have in your balance, is different in Norwegian. In Norwegian the message says "ferie" even if it is a sick child request. And ferie is more related with "vacation". It is possible to modify this standard messages? it is not a message in a take rule.
thanks in advance

Hi @camilaromero62 yes, we find a workaround. Maybe there are more ways but ew have solve with this one.
We have created a take tule inside the time type in scope, that check the balance and then you can put the translation in Norwegian with the message that you want. And to avoid double message (because the one by default in the system will be shown) you can put the cannot fall below with a certain number in the time account type, to make sure that it is not going to affect the first check.
If you have different time types linked to time account types that should be review, make sure to put in different rules because if not the rule is going to take the full balance of all the time types inside.
The take rule is a simple one, with a "calculate balance for types" , with a create date from the beginning of the year till end of year to take the full time account balance, and with <= 0. then you can select here the time account in scope. And "or" condition linked to the previous one, that check the "employee time.number of days" > calculate balance for types (and the same create date, from the beginning till end of year). Then, Raise a message with the custom message that you will put.
The only problem with this is that you need to take into account the cannot fall below number and make sure that this is not going to impact your configuration. In our case, will not affect because it is not a real cannot fall below, the check it is going to be done in the take rule with the balance.
I hope this helps you 🙂 let me know if you try this solution finally

Hi @NuriaPasCor80 : I could solve the problem using the manage languages tool. I downloaded the default tags and then the custom translation tags that the client had. I searched for the key that contained the message word I wanted to change and replaced it. I copied it into the custom translation file. I then loaded the file and it updated and reflected the change with no problems.
Thank you very much for your response
Nice day 🙂
