Hi All,

We have an authorization issue related to E-Rec process. The internal candidates applying for a job are facing an authorization

issue, like when they are in an Job Application Wizard screen and in tab personal information, not able to enter personal data,

and for some, application source dropdown list showing empty.

When traced on the particular user has found the missing access for the object types, NB (requisition) and NC (posting).

After checking in the structural profiles has found these object type values are not maintained.

So my question is by maintaining these values in the profile will resolve the issue, or we need to find the evaluation path for these object types to search for missing object ids.

Please suggest me on this issue,as to how we can proceed further.

regards,

Hi,

Why don't you give access to that object types? If candidates don't have eg. authorization for HRP1000, HRP1001, HRP5125 and so on they won't be possible to see the posting data, apply and so on.

Hi,

Role SAP_RCF_INT_CANDIDATE_SERVER is the internal candidate one when you use a distributed WD scenario. There, you have to use that role on the backend server and SAP_RCF_INT_CANDIDATE_CLIENT on the frontend.

Do you use a distributed WD scenario? You mentioned also structural profiles - does that mean that your users have also assigned a structural profile (table T77UA - T77PR)?

Hi,

Yes, the user's have structural profiles assigned. I am just concerned as to how to give access to objects types NB and NC.

By maintaining these objects( by ticking on the maintenance box for these objects) issued can be resolved, but just would like

to know if we can give a more specific access, maybe by creating a new profile finding the evaluation path for these objects.

By checking on the maintenance option for object types i believe all access to the objects in the hierarchy is provided. Correct

me if am wrong.

Many thanks,

Dear,

Are you getting any error or slg1 entry in your system.

If you are using the WebDynpro for ABAP, then internal candidate should have the authorization

SAP_RCF_INT_CANDIDATE_SERVER and the object S_RFCACL shoule be there.

please check other aspects also in this.

Best Regards,

Deepak.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The users have the authorization for SAP_RCF_INT_CANDIDATE_SERVER and the object S_RFCACL, but they are not able to apply for Job through portal.

I have found from the trace and SU53 result that issue is with the failed structural authorizations for the objects NB & NC which are requisition and posting. Having discussed with the HR functional, they have said that NB and NC objects not able to form a relation hence the error.

If these objects are maintained in the profile via OOSP i guess this would work, but can we provide more specific access to resolve the issue rather than providing the complete access to the objects.

thanks & regards,
