Hi all, i am implementing an SAP E-Rec solution (Partial). The complexity is that we are using an external Job Portal, and from the application on the application we are storing the data of the applicant (e.g. name, id, education, etc) into SAP E-Rec.
The flow will be
External Job Portal (applicant ID and application data including job posting info initially created in SAP) -> SAP Erec -> Transfer to PA.
Has anyone done that before? My question is what will be the key to creating data in SAP E-Rec to link the application in the Job Portal to SAP E-Rec. Is it
1. Email Address
2. UserID
3. Job Posting.
or a combination of 1 and 3... or 2 and 3.
Appreciate any expert who have implemented or know of such model to advise please. many many thanks !!

Hi Peter,
the usual way of integrating external job portals is to restrict this integration to the publication of jobs. By implemting a customer publisher class for a posting channel the publications are automatically published in the external job portal. The publication includes a link to the eRec system itself for application. That way you do not have to transfer candiate data as the application takes place directly in eRec.
Could you use this scenario of integration?
Kind regards
Roman
