EREC: Support Group Creation_No Category values.

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue wherein when i am trying to create a Support Group as a Recruiting Administrator, i am unable to get any values under "Category" Dropdown for selection.

Though without selection of "Category", iam able to create a Support group but i am unable to release it because of no Category Assigned.

Please note that we are using ehp4.

Would appreciate any quick help over the same.

Hi,

The system behaviour for Groupings is a bit other than for questionnairs where there is the default group.

You have to setup the categories in the e-recruiting IMG. Transaction SPRO -> E-Recruiting -> Technical settings -> User Administration -> Define Categories for Groupings.

If you do not want to have different categories just create one which is called All or Default.

Many Thanks for sharing the information.

May i request you to share few more information regarding Support Groups.

Infotypes for Support Group is 5151 and members within support group is 5152.

How are these linked to other infotypes..i mean the relationships in the overall E-Recruitment Data Model.

Hello AJ,

you find the link to the general e-recruiting data model in IT 5131, the infotype for the recruting team of the requisition. When you assign a support group to the recruiting team of the requisition an entry is made in IT 5131 with SCLAS NG and the Id of the support team in field SOBID.
