Hi Deepak,
Please make sure that you have created a background job with report RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES. You do not need to schedule the SES_ADMIN as a background job since you use this transaction to monitor the SES.
In case the indexing fails, please check the application log for clues. You can find this in transaction SLG1

Hi Luk,
Why lot of e-mails were triggering and sending to candidates after the execution of job RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES? When i executed this report as a background job (scheduled as daily basis) more then 1700 mails has been triggered. The sender mail Id for all the above said sent mails is the user from which i scheduled this report as background. Why this is happening?
Please look the job logs executed for first day:
And second day job logs:
I am getting the below error in the SLG1 for everyday:
Please look and compare the below job overview (SM37) of DEV and PRD. Both are showing different jobs executed from that report:
DEV: Here COM_SE_DISPATCHER job executed automatically
PRD: Here COM_SE_DISPATCHER job not executed automatically
Please tell me the reasons behind these, and guide me how to schedule the report RCF_PERIODICAL_SERVICES in a correct way or any configuration changes required for this.
If any other information require let me know.
Best Regards,
Deepak
Deepak,
As for your job overview, please check your selection filter. You applied a filter for the job name which excludes com_se_dispatcher.
Regarding the issues in SLG1, please check out the source code mentioned in the log entry. It seems that some unverified candidates do not have an email address mentioned in their profile, which means that they cannot perform the verification process.
Also check in the customizing which steps are mentioned in the periodical services list, these services could send out correspondence to candidates. I assume these have something to do with the verification process (reminder).
Regards,
Luk
