Hello Experts,

What is recommendable for E-Recruiting Global Rollouts for Roles?

I'm not sure if we can create separate roles per country, since the only org value showing in these roles is plan version.

What is the best Practice?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Sivani,

can you tell a bit more on your business requirement? What is your intention behind the different roles for a global rollout?

For some background information. The general idea of eRecruiting is to use the potential of all external and internal candidates to the max for the whole organization. Therefor there is no ownership of candidates in the pool. ERec in standard is not seperating access according to personal area, subarea, employee group etc. That's why there is no deriving of roles which leads to hundreds or even thousands of roles in hr core. What we find in standard eRec is an access restriction based on responsibility but this is handled without authorizations through the recruiting team.

What we find in a global context are authorizations on certain functions and with them different roles. Especially in the reporting / analytics area there are functions which might not be compliant to some local data privacy or EEO regulations. Or reports for OFCCP compliance are only needed for the us. So you could have a role for US which includes them while all other countries do not need this functions.

I hope that helps for a first step.

Kind regards

Roman
