EREC: Result of Check Settings for Search.

Hello Experts,

I am facing an issue where in SEARCH through portal is not working in E-Recruiting.(EHP4)

When checking the Settings for Search, i am getting an error in Search Profile Type

"Search prof. type ERC_CDCY is assigned not just info category fields of type NE".

Would appreciate any quick help over the same.

Hello Experts,

This query is still open. May i request experts to have a look at the same and share the expert opinion.

Just to Add: TREX search is otherwise working fine when searching as a Recruiter.

Also when external candidate search via "Application via Reference Code", search gives the Result but when general search is performed, it doesn't give any results.

Hi,

it seems that you have activated the SES after using the old KPRO based search in E-Recruiting.

In the old search the search profile ERC_CDCY also included fields of the candidate.

With SES search is relation based. This means that the search automatically runs through the related indexes between candidate and candidacy. Therefore each search profile just can have fields of the same object type.

Therefore remove every information category field which is not assigned to a category like CANDIDACY* from search profile ERC_CDCY.

Thanks for your reply.

Though i have corrected the same and no profile error is coming now but i am still facing a problem in Search.

When i am testing the service HRRCF_A_STARTPAGE_EXT_CAND in SICF using external candidate's login and then using the SEARCH, i am not getting any results.

However if i use the "Apply via Reference Code" functionality in above service only and search through the Reference Code, i am getting the result.
