Erec - Requisition creation and job posting process

Dear Experts,

We are on EHP6 with ERECRUIT 606 release, implementing E-recruitment on NWBC in the integrated instance.

The service ERC_A_REQ_MGMT provides a screen with different tabs where all the requisition details are entered and job posting is done in the last tab. Job publishing to internal and external candidates is also done.

There is another service for recruiting manager which provides HCM form HR_MSSRCF_REQUISITION. This form is for creating requisitions. It has all similar fields that are available in the ERC_A_REQ_MGMT service screen. The advantage of this form is that it has a standard workflow and takes approvals. However, there is no option to create job postings from here. Am I missing any service for job posting?

How is the first method differs from the HCM form way of creating requisitions? Are there two methods?

If I proceed with HCM form method to generate the requisition, how can I create job posting?

A manager should not create a job posting, that's the job of a recruiter. The manager creates a Requisition Request.

When approved, the requisition is created and the assigned recruiter(s) will create the jobpostings and do the follow up

I agree with you completely. The requisition, created by the manager got successfully approved. When I checked from the recruiter login, there is no link to create the job posting with reference to this requisition. Which service should be used that creates the job posting from recruiter's login?

is the recruiter assigned to the requisition? so, can he open the requisition from his dashboard? If yes, release the requisition and you can create the texts and publications

Yes. The recruiter is assigned using support group settings (I hope this is how the recruiter is assigned).

Regarding the dashboard, I am not aware of it. Thats my question here. Where do I check for this requisiton? How can I make this dashboard available for the recruiter? Is there any standard service for this?

yes, which role do you use in the NWBC?

The webdynpro application is called ERC_A_WORKCENTER (dashboard)

Thank you so much. When I used this service in the role, I am able to see the dashboard and the requisitions raised by the recruiting manager.

Another issue is: when I click on the requisition and hit "Job Posting", I am getting this error (please see attached screen shot). The same error is displayed when clicked on the requisition from the dashboard.

Even the requisition status is "Draft" and not released.

Which role do you use? I think it might not be the correct one.

You should use SAP_ERC_RECRUITER_CI_4

The role SAP_ERC_RECRUITER_CI_4 does not have dashboard. I have created a custom role which has dashboard.

I am checking your replies from one of the thread in SDN. Hope this might help
