Hello,

What are the configuration steps, I need to setup to maintain Agencies so they can submit applications for consideration in the recruitment process. I can maintain agencies as "E-recruiting administrator" by clicking maintain agencies. I have added few of them. What else I need to do?

I have created an entry in table V_T77RCF_postCHN. Do I need to setup agent service? under "job agent" ( IMG path)? what about this RCF_AGENT_SERVICES ?

Please advice.

Thanks.

Hi,

the job agent and its service report RCF_AGENT_SERVICES have nothing to do with agencies, so there is no need for configuration here. Job agent is a service which automatically sends the candidate new postings matching search criteria he stored in his profile.

For agency configuration there is T77S0 switch RECFA AGYRO which defines the business partner role of the agency. But there is usually no need to change it from the standard value RCFAGY.

Another configuration for agencies is made in the settings for application sources. In the application source handling there are some "hidden" mechanics. The key 02 for application source type is reserved for agencies. In the application source definition (IMG node "Define Application Sources") you define application sources for agencies and assign them to the application source type 02. This configuration also populates the dropdown in agency maintenance. In the application wizard the application source type 02 and the assigned application sources are hidden. They are only available in the manual entry of applications.

If recruiters maintain candidates provided by agencies on their own in the system they can simply choose the correct application source in the manual data entry. Otherwise you need to provide users and direct system access for the agencies to maintain the candidates.

Kind Regards

Roman

We have already done the following.

Now when I go to portal as recruiters and click any one of them I should be able to see the source type?

Manual Application Management

Create Internal Applications

Create External Application

Thanks.

I am able to do it.

Create External Application

[Example Please]

Can you give me an overview, what are the advantages and disadvantages and thinks to watch when dealing with agencies? Also, it will be great if you can explain on best practices?

Thanks.
