EREC: job search

Hi guys,

I am new in e-recruiting. I have created requisition, released then posted and publicated.(step by step)

My publication is for internal, Now I want find my publication via "Job Search". I can't find it. and I dont know this module well.

Hi,

before checking something in SKPR07 or SRMO please tell us, which e-recruiting release you have and which trex release you have.

If you have EHP4 SP4+ and TREX 7.10.18+ the steps in SRMO in SKPR07 are obsolete and configuration needs just to be done in SES_ADMIN.

if your TREX is connected to your SAP system you can go to transaction TREXADMIN. Chose the RFC connection to your TREX and then execute. You can see the TREX version at the top of the second tab. Otherwise your basis team will be able to tell you.

Hello Samir,

You have note 1082004 with referencing notes which are all describing how to configure TREX and make it available for E-Recruiting too. I would suggest you go through that to find all information needed.

Usually in transaction SRMO you see which RFC connection is used for the TREX connection.

Hello Samir,

Job search is a relatively broad area where it's nearly impossible to give you a quick overview. That's the reason I mentioned the wiki pages as there you have potential errors/check reports mentioned you can use to investigate why the job search isn't working for you.

There can be several issues on that: not indexed on TREX, fulltextsearch not working but attribute on does, wrong search application customizing, wrong SICF service customizing and so on.

If you have done changes on the search customizing it is usally the best to start the check report I mentioned as there you see what search settings might be missing or are wrong. If all steps are shown with green lights then you can take the next steps.

Hello Samir,

If you search for internal postings you have to use T77RCF_INT_PUB and not T77RCF_EXT_PUB as this is the one for the external posting texts. Depending on your search technology used you can also have a look at our external wiki where helpful search customizing check reports and further informations is provided:

There you would find the description of the RCF_CHECK_SEARCH_SETTING report and also other helpful hints what you can check.

Could you please check in the table T77RCF_EXT_PUB or T77RCF_INT_PUB you have the entries "X" for published postings.

please check the note

Also please check through SKPR07 results are coming or not ??

Thank you for your respond. I am new in EREC and now I can maintain T77RCF_EXT_PUB table. I have checked it vith SE16, even my vacant position was not there. What must I do?
