Hi Friends,
I have a small query,
When ever an external candidate is hired using PA48, i can see that a new pernr, CP and NA gets created. However there is no connection/ relationship between the external candidate id and the internal candidate id.
According to this link ERP Integration (Software Runs on One Instance) - Shared Topics - SAP Library the internal candidate id is supposed to get deleted and external candidate id should get linked with the new CP (i tried hiring by specifying today's date). This behavior is not to be seen in my system. Because of which i am finding it difficult to track the history of an employee with respect to his/ her candidature.
Can some1 please let me know if the system is supposed to behave in the similar manner or are there any settings that need to be done? is there a way i can actually link the pernr and the external candidate id?
We are on ERECRUIT 617, SP0002

Hi Pradeep,
This is a common error if the ALE customizing is wrong. Please check the forum and wiki as there are already several posts on that.

Thanks Nicole,
Please correct me if i am wrong, but isn't ALE customizing required if my eRec and HR system on 2 different instances? But in my case both eRec and HR are on the same server. Do i still need ALE customizing.
Also i can seen that few BAdis are to be activated. We have done that as well. The following BAdis have been activated:
1) Badi: HRSYNC_P Implementation: CONV_HR_DATA_TO_EREC
2) Badi: HRALX_HRALXSYNC_BADI Implementation:CHECK_INTER_NA_EXIST
3) Badi: HRPAD00INFTY Implementation: HR_INTEGRATION_TO_B
4) Badi: HRPAD00INFTY Implementation: HR_INTEGRAT_TO_EREC
5) Badi: HRBAS00INFTY Implementation: HRRCF00_STORE_HRQUAL
But still 2 different candidate ids are created. Is there something that i am missing?
Regards,
Pradeep
