Hi,

We are currently on Ehp6

I want to give external agencies -Portal access for doing various candidate activities like creating an external candidate application

How can an agency log into our Portal without having a pernr in the system

What is teh process for user creation of agencies,,,

Hi Shravani,

To the portal you can only logon if you are an employee as you have to assign the employee number to the portal user in IT0105/0001.

So you would need to give them external access like you do for external candidates for example.

Thanks. Based on your advice, we are able to give external access to the agencies. However, I have query regarding the functionality of "Maintain Agencies" in Recruiting Admin role.

When an agency is maintained via the above application, a BP is generated for the agency. And when we create user for external agency( like for external candidates) again a BP is created. Do we need to link the BP objects or they can co-exist in the system?

Is there any standard FM or Method to create users for external agency?

Hi Shravani,

You have to create the agency so that the BP is created for the agency itself and then you assign a user or support group there. Of course for that the candidate/user has to exist for the users being assigned to that agency.

Hi Nicole,

I have created an agency using "Recruiting Admin" role ( BP generated for Agency) and have also created a Dialog User( Similar to external candidate user. BP is also generated for this) for this agency ,so that the agency can login and submit application on behalf of candidates.

However, how can I assign this user to the agency in "Recruiting Admin" . As the search gives values only where PERNR is there. External agency will never have PERNR assigned in the system.

How does this work? Am i missing something?

Hi Shravani,

The application will be automatically assigned to the agency once such a user is creating the application. If your user isn't assigned to a support group maintained for the agency, the assignment is not done automatically and you will need to assign your agency in the external application entry all the time.

How can I assign external agency who is not employee in my company into support group? In support group, it allows only user who has personnel no only.
