Hi there,
We created multiple internal and external channels for the jobs could be published. We are unable to edit the expiry date based on the individual channels, is it not standard funcitonality to provide the ability to withdrawn and edit postings for individual channels?
For example: We have 6 internal channels, and 2 external channels. Recruiter want to extend the job only to 2 internal channels and 1 external channel. Is it possible?
Thank you so much for your time.

Hello Dhana,
If you have own posting channels and hence, own classes for that, you have to make sure that the methods:
IF_HRRCF_PUBLISHER~PUBL_PERIOD_CHANGEABLE and
IF_HRRCF_PUBLISHER~ON_PUBL_PERIOD_CHANGE
are set up accordingly.

Nicole

HI Dhana
I know it's been a while since the original post but I have an issue with creating custom posting channels which from reading this thread I'm hoping you might be able to help me with.
I''ve created a custom posting channel with an entry in T77RCF_POSTCHN with a 'posting_channel' value of '0004'. I have created a custom publisher class and the the candidate class is set as 'External Candidate'.
The custom class has the interfaces IF_HRRCF_CONSTANTS and IF_HRRCF_PUBLISHER implemented and is also placed in customization.
Debugging lead me to CL_HRRCF_SES_BUSOBJ_EPOST_SPT which is referenced in V_T77RCF_SPT 'Search profile types' It has method get_posting _channel which was hard coded to return the posting channel '0002'.
Created a Z class to check for multiple posting channels, updated V_T77RCF_SPT so that EXT_POST is now using the Z class as the builder class and the table T77RCF_EXT_PUB is getting updated.
I now have the issue of the getting the jobs for the new posting channel to appear in the Applicant Cockpit! Did you have to customise other classes where the posting channel value is hard coded or have I missed a far simpler solution?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Jon
