EREC: E-recruitment unable to save requisition

Dear Guru's,

Were are implementing E-recruitment and activated the services in SICF. We are testing the service erc_a_rwq_mgmt. Here we are not able to save the requisition since no save action is handled clicking on te save button.

What can be wrong here.

We are not able to do further processing for the requisition because clicking on the release button ends up in an internal error. Log from SLG1:

Hi there,

this application cannot be called directly. In your case, the application does not know, that a requisition has to be created.

Please start the application erc_a_workcenter.

In the POWL for your requisitions you will find a create button, which starts the requisition creation correctly.

Hi,

as I told this service needs specific parameters which need to be assigned to the URL. So this service cannot just be tested, you need to extend the URL called with right paramters. E-Recruiting EhP4 is meant to be used from Portal. In the portal deployment package the direct callable URLs are provided with the right parameters.

So this is not a technical issue, but the way how e-recruiting was programmed.

The option I told you above is a possibility for you to "test" e-erecruiting. A productive use can just be done with SAP Portal. Other usages are not officially supported.

So if you want to try the requisition maintenance open the workcenter as described above and start the requisition maintenance out of application context. The button "create requisition" will provide the right URL parameters.

Hi,

Another question raising:

We are Ehp4 EREC Support Pack 06. SAP Note 1394119 describes that portal content for Recruiter 1.40 is delivered within the Ehp 4 SP 4, however no portal content is available only the services in SICF.

Do we need te import the SP 01 till 08 for BP ERP Recruiter 1.40 seperatly?
