EREC: Creation of candidate for a user in a non-integrated set up

Problem:

The portal is throwing "No authorization" with any user I log in to the e-Recruiting system and do whatever.

Analysis:

I have searched the threads which are posted on similar lines and found that this happens when the candidate is not assigned against user. Checked with SLG1 and found that it has two errors.

> No candidate could be found for US USERNAME

> The error occurred in program CL_HRRCF_CANDIDATE===CM003 line 361

Information:

Our e-Recruiting system and ECC are on two different servers. We have managed to integrate it through ALE using the message type HRMD_ABA. I have executed the report HRALXSYNC and found that the Organizational Units are fetched from ECC but they are all marked red. We did the ALE for Positions also, but there were a few errors while doing the same for Persons.

Questions:

1. In case of two different integrated systems, how to create a candidate against user? If it is through the program RCF_CREATE_USER, then is it in e-Recruiting system or in the ECC system?

2. Is this the actual problem why I am facing the authorization issue?

3. Is there anything with HRALE00_INBOUND_IDOC which can help us?

Hello Veera,

Please have a look at the attachment in note 997181 which is describing the ALE scenario. The NA candidates are created by the system and report RCF_CREATE_USER should never be used for 'normal' users but only test users you need in your system.

Hi Veera,

In E-Rec all users who wants to use erec application needs to have a candidate object. If you go to HRP1001 table you should find following relationships after inbound processing in Erec system.

CP->US

CP->NA

CP->BP

CP->P ( If employee )

Even if one them is missing . You will not be able to login. Check for FAQ notes in Service market place for configuration of ALE in PA-ER application component.
