Hello,

We have a front end and back end system for seperately for erecruitment, with HCM system in a different box, i was able to call the registration page and register as user. But the candidate cockpit is not being displayed, after registration. When i go to slg1, i see these errors. Did i miss a configuration step to link both the systems?, i added the backend system information in T77S0 table for variable UI2BL. Thank you for your help in advance.

An exception occurred in E-Recruiting.

Hello,

I think you can check below things:

- if the un-registered service user is configured correctly according to wiki page

   http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/1ATVDg

- if RFC connection between HR and E-rec is ok
- if RECFA/HRRFC and RECFA/RECCE setting in T77S0 is correct

Best Regards,

Hi David,

Do we need to mention the HR and erec connection even in the front end system too?, if i run the service directly in the backend system, i am able to get to landing page and other pages. I get this error only when i execute the service from the front end system.

Appears that RFC connections are not maintained between front end and backend systems.

Regarding the switches, you need to maintain RECFA/RECCE only if you concurrent employment enabled in your system. Otherwise, leave the switch blank (delivered).

Refer to SAP Note 1017866. It should help you.

Hello,

In case you use a distributed WD scenario, it is essential that the T77S0 switches are set correctly (RECFA BL2UI, UI2BL, SYEMP, WEBUI).

A description of the settings can be found also in note 1017866 and http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/45/a4f6ccee9952f5e10000000a1553f7/frameset.htm

Regards

Nicole
