With the new course homepage, when a user registers for a class that requires approval, the "registration comments" box is no longer available. All of the our items/classes have a default price of 0.00 and the approvers are pre-defined.
SAP support stated the following:
Kindly note that our Product Management team confirmed that "Comment page will be displayed ONLY when the item is a charged item (not free) OR the approver is NOT a pre-defined approver (that needs requester to manually select one approver)" . If the amount is free or approver is defined, the comment box is expected to not be shown to users. This missing case scenario has been recognized by the product management team and is planned as an enhancement in the new Course Home.

SAP support also confirmed that the enhancement will NOT be part of the 2H 2023.
We can't be the only organization that uses the comment function. Does anyone have any work around in place?
