Hello all,

I needed some guidance on how we can enable audio in a standard template bookpage for a workarea. The issue is with a standard SAP template which is been customized as per requirement but the audio settings are not enabled in it. The issue is with one specific template only.

You can control what happens in the Settings of Enable Now. Not sure exactly what you are trying to do for your template but you control these setting in Adaptable settings

You can also control Audio settings in each book you create.

Hope this Helps,

As with Jesse, I'm not sure what you're trying to do - you want to have some standard audio in a Book Page template so that every Book Page you create from that Template has the same audio? That would be strange, but no judgment here... I did a quick test of adding audio to a Book Page, set it as a template, and then created a new Book Page using the 'audio Book Page' as a template, and indeed, the audio settings are NOT carried over. I would consider this a bug (everything in the Template should be carried over) but it still seems like an odd thing to want to do, so even if you create an Incident it may not get fixed in a hurry (but wait and see if the changes coming in 20.11 make a difference...). Other than that I have not had problems enabling audio in a Book Page created from any Template. If you cannot, and it is an SAP-provided Book Page Template you may want to open an Incident (although often the 'templates' provided on the info Center are 'without warranty'..). Or if Jesse and I have both missed the point, can you rephrase the question and we'll try again!
