Enabled Field in HRIS elements not visible in people UI

Hi

How can I make a field HRIS element from employment info portlet visible on people UI. The field is enabled and set to edit on the HRIS elements, yet it does not show in the people profile while other fields are showing.

What could be the cause, and how can this be resolved?

Could it be the number you chose? The employmentinfo related HRIS element has fields shared amongst employment and termination (custom fields have specific ranges that are assigned to either employment or termination as described here: 2467879 - To add custom field in termination portlet (sap.com)). The other reason could be that either a business rule is blocking it. The last reason could be that in your permission role (As part of Employee Data --> Employment Details) you did not grant permission to that field yet.
