Enable/Show Desktop Assistant Sidebar using SAP Enable Now

Hi,

I need help in activating/enabling Desktop Assistant sidebar using SAP Enable Now for ECC desktop application. I have tried enabling some setting using the SAP companion feature within Desktop Assistant: Playback Settings. I am not sure how to make the sidebar appear on the right most side of the computer screen.

How do I make it happen? Let me know, please.

Desktop Assistant: Playback Settings > SAP Companion > Visual Properties > Sidebar Alignment should do it.

Thanks, Dirk. How do I make it appear on the screen? Do I need to create a dedicated folder for Desktop assistant? Add simulations and guided tours? Sync it to the application I need end users to utilize Desktop assistant for? Can you please refer me to a video/documentation for further guidance?

Wait, what? You haven't even created an SAP Companion for Desktop object in your Workarea? OK, so that is a much bigger ask. Refer to the Producer Manual and, if you are on premise, also to the SAP Companion for Desktop Installation Guide.
